We were looking for a piano for our 6 mo old and decided on this one, because in addition to the piano, you get blocks as well. It was a good choice - at this stage, my daughter is a lot more intrested in the blocks than the piano! She likes knocking them all off the piano, chewing on them, throwing them and crawling after them - especially the round block which rolls all over our uneven floor.
The two square blocks have pictures on each side - a bird, frog, and two music notes. When on the piano and you press the keys, they pop up well, even stacked 3 high. Nice bright colors, and nice sound. One thing which would make it better is if the colors of the keys matched the faces of the blocks.
my little one really doesnt play with this toy. she will hit it and knock the blocks off then go on to some other toy.she will shake the block in her hand to see the head pop up but not for long.
